Thank you for your interest in the Infrastructure category of the TAC Local Government Grant Program.

Grants of up to $100,000 (ex. GST) with a conditional 1:1 contribution from the LGA are available to implement cost-effective road safety infrastructure designed to reduce crashes involving pedestrians and cyclists.

Local Government Authorities are welcome to submit one Infrastructure application per funding round.

Before commencing this application, please ensure you have read and are familiar with the Funding Guidelines.

Incomplete applications or applications received after the round close at 3pm Wednesday, July 22, will not be accepted.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for funding:

1. Applicants must be a Victorian Local Government Authority (LGA).

2. Applications to the Infrastructure and Analysis categories must be primarily focused on road safety issues relating to cyclists and/or pedestrians and on local government managed roads. 

3. Applicants to the Infrastructure category must match TAC funding on a 1:1 basis. 

4. Applicants must provide evidence of appropriate insurance as outlined in the Funding Guidelines.
