Thank you for your interest in the TAC Road Safety Grant Program.

This is a grant application for the Support Grants category. Funding of up to $50,000 (ex. GST) is available to support the planning and/or delivery of community road safety projects.

The objectives of this grant program are to:

  • Create a sense of shared responsibility for reducing road trauma within the Victorian community.
  • Build and sustain meaningful relationships with community groups and organisations that will contribute to improved road safety outcomes.
  • Empower communities to advocate for changes that will have positive road safety outcomes.
  • Deliver evidence-based projects that have the potential to reduce and prevent road trauma.

Before commencing this application, please ensure you have read and are familiar with the Support and Collaboration Grant Funding Guidelines.

Incomplete applications or applications received after the round close at 3pm Wednesday 15th April will not be accepted.

Eligibility

To be eligible for funding through this grant program, you must meet the following criteria:

1. The organisation responsible for the application is financially viable and one of the following:

  • Incorporated community association (unincorporated community associations can apply through an auspice arrangement)
  • Community trust 
  • Registered not-for-profit/charity 
  • Social enterprise

2. The planned project will be undertaken in Victoria.

3. The planned project has not previously been funded by the TAC.

4. The organisation responsible for this application will acquire the appropriate insurances.
